This new white paper from Stanford Accelerator for Learning explores how AI can be a force for inclusion—not exclusion—for learners with disabilities and learning differences. This work brings together voices from education, tech, disability advocacy, and youth to chart an inclusive path forward for AI in education. ITI and our nonprofit Autistic Self-Reliance are featured on page 50 as an example of neurodivergent-led organizations working with emerging technology!

With 12 actionable recommendations and a companion Hackathon Toolkit, this paper is a resource for anyone working at the intersection of innovation and inclusion.

Three key messages of the paper highlight the importance of designing inclusive processes for AI innovation:
